South Carolina Barber Shops
Following outreach from local volunteers, 20 barber shop owners in South Carolina now have Be SMART posters hanging in their shops. We applaud these businesses for taking this step to help raise awareness among their customers about the importance of securing firearms.
Alexandria, Virginia Sheriff’s Office
As part of an ongoing partnership with Virginia’s Alexandria City Sheriff’s Office, all deputies in training attend a Be SMART presentation before they are issued their firearms. By emphasizing the importance of keeping guns inaccessible to kids and teens, this initiative helps to keep secure firearm storage top-of-mind for training deputies in their professional and personal capacities.
